Pearl Anna "Pearlie" (Miller) Ody

Pearl Anna Ody, 92, went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2016. She was born February 22, 1924 in Waukegan, Illinois and lived in Uniontown where she was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. Pearl loved to do crafts, crochet, knit, needlepoint and babysit, but most of all loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Ody. She was the loving mother to daughter, Linda (Carl) Humphreys; sons, Ed Ody and Bob (Michele) Ody; grandmother to, Carl, Jacob and Jessica Humphreys, Bryan (Erika) Ody, and Caitlin (Chris) Honniball; three great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews; two sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law. Thanks to all the great nurses and aides at Altercare of Hartville, Lori and Becky from Hospice. She was loved by all. Friends and family will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) with funeral services following at 12 noon.
