Paul R. Shane

Paul R. Shane, Age 73, passed away on October 21, 2023. 

Paul was born in Ravenna, Ohio and lived in Uniontown.  He graduated from Northwest High School, served in the Navy, was self-employed, and a member of Springfield Assembly of God.

Paul’s family meant everything to him.  He enjoyed family, bowling, and guns.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Shane; mother, Mary Shane; daughter, Shannon Shane.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; sons, Brady (Vicki) Shane, James (Becca) Bentz, Patrick (Kelley) Shane, and Charles Shane; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Robert (Donna) Shane; and sisters, Juanita, Regina, Dorothy, and Rose.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 26^th from 11 am to 1 pm at Hopkins Lawver UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue), Uniontown, Ohio 44685.  Memorials can be made to Springfield Assembly of God, 1551 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312.
