Paul E. Dye

Paul E. Dye, Sr., 80, passed away November 17, 2013.

Paul retired from Parker Hannifin where he was employed for 43 years. He enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians but most importantly, Paul lived for his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Freda; children, Karen (Ron) Rowe, Julie (Tom) Flege, Paul (Tara) Dye, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) Jones, Ryan Rowe, Kyle and Leah Flege, Drew and Gavin Dye and baby Sarah Dye due in March; great grandson, Logan Jones and one great grandchild due in June; siblings, Louise Seda, twin sister, Pauline (Lyn) Smart, Corrine Wiley, Ken (Joan) Dye and Evie Beitel.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312. Funeral service Thursday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Bogue officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park where military rites will be conducted by Firestone VFW Post 3383.
