Patricia A. Stefan (nee Leidy)

Patricia A. Stefan (nee Leidy) MOGADORE – Patricia A. Stefan, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, she was a Mogadore resident most of her life. Pat was a former employee of G.E. Factory Service, Benefit Services and InfoCision, where she worked in customer service. She was a longtime member of Mogadore United Methodist Church, and served as treasurer of the United Methodist Women. Pat was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Mogadore Social Club. She made friends with many people over the years and loved social gatherings, especially in her community. Pat was very artistic and loved crocheting, knitting and crafting. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Vera Leidy, she is survived by her sons, Richard and Roger; grandchildren, Angela Groszewski, Daniel and Sydney Stefan; and sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Barry Rudy. The family would like to thank the staff of the Summa Akron City Critical Care Unit for their wonderful care. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260 with Pastor Eric Kluth officiating. Family and friends will be received prior to the service on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Private interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
