Patricia A. Hutcherson

Pat Hutcherson, 88, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025. She died at her home as she hoped to do. The house was full of the people she loved who had gathered to say goodbye.

Pat is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Hutcherson. Ray lovingly cared for Pat in their home where they spent their life together and raised a thankful family. Pat is also survived by her children, Jim (Debbie) Hutcherson, Linda (Paul) Leonhard, and Rick (Michelle) Hutcherson; grandchildren, Natalie Leonhard (Chris Soto), Lexi (John) Kopilchack, Sara (Danny) Bauman, Jessica Hutcherson, Jimmy Hutcherson, Olivia (Jen) Hutcherson, Grace (Adam) Franjesevic, Jacob (Corenna) Hutcherson, Joshua (Maya) Hutcherson; great grandchildren, Owen Hutcherson, Winnie Soto, Lucy, Rae, and Tyson Kopilchack, and Blair Franjesevic; sisters, Lois Nuzum and Mary (Wayne) Ostrander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and Ellsworth Boston; brothers, Russell, Clair, and Charles (Red) Boston; sister, Bernice Weiland; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Hutcherson.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family anywhere but especially at their “Farm” in West Virginia that has been in her family for over 125 years.

Memorial donations can be made in Pat’s name to Dayton Children’s Hospital (childrensdaytongive.org) or Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44308. A celebration of Pat’s life will be planned for a later date.

The family is very grateful for the in-home caregivers Pat had for the last several months including Laura, RaeAnn, and Joyce and the Gentiva Hospice Organization. Special thanks to nieces Kathy and Sandy for always being there for Mom. She loved you like daughters.
