Patricia Ann Howell

In Loving Memory of Patricia A. Howell Patricia Ann Howell, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 2, 2019. Born in Moundsville, W.Va., she lived with her husband in Akron, Ohio, Waco, Tex. and Chicago, Ill., and then in Crown Point, Ind. with her daughter, Trisha and son-in-law, Rob and family during the last ten years of her life. Patty graduated from Moundsville High School and retired from HEB in Texas after 20 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Moundsville, W.Va. Patty enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to cook for everyone. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, James D. “Buddy” Howell; and four siblings, Patty is survived by daughters, Trisha (Howell) and her husband, Rob Devenport, and Jamie (Howell) and her husband, Gary Tulley; son, Bob Howell and his wife, Donna; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Friday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Chapel Services and burial will take place Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society.
