Nathan Kent "Itchy" Salyers
January 23, 1982 — May 14, 2022
Nathan Kent Salyers (Itchy) age 40 passed away suddenly on May 14, 2022.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he lived in the Akron area for 32 years, most recently in Barberton, Ohio. Nathan was a graduate of Coventry High School and attended Wayne County Career Center. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and Future Farmers of America. He was an avid gardener, outdoorsman, artist, and gamer. He enjoyed hunting for Bigfoot, as well as UFO’s, researching bugs and discussing conspiracy theories. Humor was his superpower and he enjoyed making people smile!
He is preceded in death by his brother Kent Salyers, Grandparents; Ray and Natalie Hinkal, Clint Salyers, Jan Salyers-Compton, and his faithful dog Deacon. He is survived by his parents, Gabrielle and Kevin Kline; Marty and Silvia Salyers. His sister Denae Salyers-Shafer (Bradley), his nieces Kayden, Alanah, and Emersyn and many other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and other family member.
Friends and family will be received Friday, May 20th from 4:00 to 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Stark County Humane Society at http://www.starkhumane.org/Donate/Online.
