Nadine J. Snyder

Nadine J. Snyder, age 86, passed away June 28, 2014.

She was born July 8, 1927 in Zanesville, Ohio and lived many years in the Akron area. Nadine retired in 1983 from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family, sewing, and reading.

Preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; parents; brothers, Thomas and Allen. She will be greatly missed by daughter, Phyllis (Al) Friedlein; grandchildren, Edwin (Maria) Friedlein, Butch Friedlein, Mitchell (Mary) Friedlein; great grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Taylor, Aiden, Cory, Brittany, Brandon and Haley; great-great grandchildren, Joshua, Noelle, Noah, Camden; brother, Ralph (Shirley) Drake; sisters, Kathryn (Bob) Leas, Joanne McIntire, Martha Baker; and sisters-in-law, Peg Drake; Jenny Jackson, Hazel Lemons, Jackie Snyder; brothers-in-law, Bob (Rita) Snyder and Frank (Marilyn) Snyder.

The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44312 with visitation from 10 a.m. to service. Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger will officiate. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Road, Akron, Ohio 44312.
