Michael Harry Miller

Michael Harry Miller, age 74, went home to be with the Lord April 21, 2018. Born in Akron, Ohio, he lived most of his life in Uniontown and graduated from Walsh College. Mike retired after 35 years from Harry Miller Excavating and was a longtime member of The Chapel in Green. He was very involved in people’s lives. Mike was extremely active in Safe Landing Boy’s Ministries and the Care Ministry at the Chapel in Green. He loved spending time with his grandsons and liked car shows and bike riding. Preceded in death by his children, Mary Ann and David; parents, Harry and Stella; and brother, Wilbur; Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley; daughters, Denise (David) Stockman and Christine (Joe) Myers; grandchildren, Mitchel and Nicholas Myers; and sisters, Alma Wartko and Bernadette Smith. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at The Chapel in Green, 1800 Raber Road, Uniontown, Ohio 44685, with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Family and friends will be received two hours prior to the service on Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph.
