Melissa Lou Coury

Melissa Lou Coury, age 54, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 21, 2017. Born in Akron, she lived in Suffield all of her life. Missy earned a BSN from Ohio University and was employed as a nurse for more than 30 years. She was a member of Suffield Fellowship Church. Missy’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Missy was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Barton. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Raymond “Andy”; son, Michael (Brittany); daughters, Rachel (Ethan), Sarah and Mikala (George); grandchildren, Adalee, Elias and Mayven; father, Carlton “Joe” Barton; brothers, Fred (Paula), Ken (Diane) and Joe (Carla); and sister, Becky (Dale). Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Suffield Fellowship Church, 1669 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Private services will be held for the family.
