Maynard J. Miller, age 88 of Hartville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and went home to be with Jesus Christ, his personal Savior.
He was born on March 3, 1930 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Maynard founded M.J. Miller & Company C.P.A.’s in 1957. He was an active member of Hartville Mennonite/Evermore Community Church for 65 years, and loved the Lord with all of his heart. Maynard enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. He never met a stranger.
Preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy, he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth A. (nee Sommers). Maynard will be greatly missed by his children, Keith, Stanley, Derwood (Deborah) and Brian (Traci) Miller and Amy (Troy) Yoder; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Irene Miller, Marjorie (Wayne) Byler, Susie Boyd, Jerry Jr. (Sarah) Miller, Paul (Kathleen) Miller, Pauline (James) Miller and Miriam (Wayne) Miller.
Friends and family will be received Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Evermore Community Church, 1470 Smith Kramer Street NE, Hartville, Ohio 44632. Burial will take place Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at Evermore Church Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the church with Pastors Ross Miller and Butch Nisly officiating.
