Matilda (Abrams) King (nee Criss) “Tillie”
Matilda King “Tillie”, age 94, went home to be with the Lord April, 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Akron, Tillie was one of 11 children and a lifetime area resident. She was a longtime member of the Akron Baptist Temple, where she was active in the Joy Seekers and was a member of the Lakemore Senior Citizens. Tillie worked at Sun Rubber, Scotts and for more than 31 years at the Lakemore Plaza Fashion Bug. She truly enjoyed working at Fashion Bug and would probably still be working there if the store had not closed! Tillie loved the Lord, enjoyed dancing, singing, sewing and crocheting. Most importantly, she loved being with her family who meant the world to her.

Abrams, Jr. and Mary Ann Morris; grandchildren, Jimmy Jr. (Laura), Kimberly (Chuck), Noel (Rickie), Shellie (Linn), Kellie (Mark) and Brian; great grandchildren, Jimmy III (Cassie), Jeffery, Erica, Rickie, Jr., Kelci (Brandon), Preston (Raven) and Brian; great-great grandchildren, Mina, Carter and Preston II; brother, Henry (Billie Sue) Criss; sister, Irene (Harry) Spellman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
