Mary L. Rummell, age 74, went home to be with the Lord December 17, 2017.
Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a lifetime area resident. Mary graduated from East High School and retired from Aircraft Breaking Systems Corporation (ABSC). She was a member of The Chapel in Green, where she was known as a “master quilter” in their quilting group. Mary loved bowling but her greatest love in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary loved Christmas. She would do anything for anyone in need and loved to bless other people whenever she was able. Mary treated everyone as if they were her family and was a true sense of “God’s love” to all around her. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Marshall and Peggy Carlisle. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul; sons, Dan (Dee) and Jay (Mary Ann); daughter, Carolyn; grandchildren, Nicole (Mike), Rachel, Erin (Ryan), Kaylei, Jacob, Jessica, Matthew, Blake, Lexee and Silas; brother, Rick (Judy) Marshall; and sister, Barb (Gene) Gills.
