Mary Ellen Pratt

Mary Ellen Pratt, age 88, passed away July 14, 2021. Born in Akron on April 14, 1933, Mary lived in the area her entire life. She work as an elementary teacher for Akron Public Schools for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends and family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bob” Pratt; daughter, Kelly Lehman; and special friend, Ralph Waychoff. She is survived by her children, Kim (Rick) Hummel, Kristy (James) Stith, Michael (Diana) Pratt, Karen (Charles) Alderson, and son-in-law, William “Bill” Lehman; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren (4 in Heaven); siblings, Karen Carter and Don Ellet; and many nieces and nephews.
