Mary Alice Plaster

Mary A. Plaster, age 101, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2022.

She was born in Russell County, VA on February 23, 1921 to the late John and Melissa Boyd. She sold real estate for 32 years, while also raising her family. Mary was an active member of Springfield Baptist Church for 75 years and a member of Eastern Star. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always there for you, whether it be providing wisdom or emotional and financial gifts.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers; five sisters; and husband, Ernest Plaster. She is survived by her children, Roger (Karen) Plaster and Patricia (Conway) Anderson; grandchildren, Jeff (Theresa) Anderson, Melissa Hamlin (Rich Hite), David (Kelly) Plaster, Karie (Melissa) Nahas; great-grandchildren, Earl Hamlin, Henry Hamlin, Brielle Anderson, Brett Anderson, Dawson Plaster, Kenna Plaster, Emily Fletcher, Kylie Fletcher, Logan Fletcher; and special niece, Nancy Wilson.
