Mary E. Lohr

Mary E. Lohr, 90, passed away on January 14, 2025. Born May 12, 1934, she lived her whole life in Suffield. Mary graduated from Suffield High School in 1952 and married her husband, Kenneth, in 1953. She retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation in 2000 and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved to be around people, especially her family and friends. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lohr (1980); siblings, Jim, Joe, Pauline; and special friend, George Finch (2011). She is survived by her children, Tim (Jodi), Tom (Juanita), Linda, Sue (Matt), Gayle (Greg); 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Special thanks to the staff and residents at Danbury Tallmadge for making the last 2 years so fun and enjoyable for Mary!

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, February 22nd at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260. A celebration of life luncheon will be held immediately following at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2697 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260. Memorial donations may be made to the Suffield Fire Department, 1256 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260.
