Mary Jean Snyder (nee Packo)

Mary Jean Snyder (nee Packo), 79, passed away March 10, 2014.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Mary lived most of her life in the area before moving to Ravenna. She was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber and Summa Health Systems Akron City Hospital. Mary was very involved in politics and community organizations throughout her life and had a special interest in aviation.

Mary is survived by one son; daughter-in-law; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. with Pastor Jim Shuman officiating. Private burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
