Mary Ellen (Donahue) Seiwert

Mary Ellen Donahue Seiwert, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 1, 2012.

She was born and lived in Akron, Ohio her entire life. Mary Ellen retired from General Tire in 1985 and was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and their Ladies’ Guild.

Preceded in death by her husband of 59 ½ years, Raymond Trevor Seiwert. Mary Ellen is survived by daughter, Nora (James) Flanagan of Medina; sons, James (Kathleen) Seiwert of Waterville, Ohio and Michael Seiwert of Akron; grandchildren, Brooke (Robert) Moser, James (Juli) Seiwert, Kristen (Andrew) Shinkle and Meghan (Sante) Ghetti; great grandchildren, Bella and Bree Moser; twin sister, Rita Hall of Concord, Ohio; brother-in-law, Rodney (Virginia) Seiwert of Tallmadge. She is also survived by two special nieces, Jacquelyn (Jeffrey) Carrillo and Catherine (James) Ulle of Concord, Ohio; great nephews, James and Jack Ulle; and great niece, Gigi Carrillo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Street, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson celebrating.
