Mary Louise Dailey

Mary Lou Dailey, age 83, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2016 after a brief illness. 

Born in Akron, she graduated from South High School in 1950 and retired from Ohio Bell. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother and aunt. Preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents; sisters; and grandson. She is survived by her children, Kelly Markunas (Frank) and Eric Dailey. She will be greatly missed by her many lifelong loving friends, and family that were so important to her throughout her life. 

Friends and family will be received Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. James Bane officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service Justin T. Rogers Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
