Mary Angelich

Mary Angelich, born June 14, 1928, passed away quietly on November 23, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was 91 years old. Mary was born in Mogadore, Ohio. Her first job was working at Motor Cargo Company as a file clerk. Motor Cargo Company moved to Chicago in 1962. She moved with the company and continued working there until 1965 when she moved back to Mogadore where she worked in the Summit County Personnel Office until retirement. Mary enjoyed travel, Bingo and playing the slot machines at many area casinos and Las Vegas. She also loved her special cats, Charlie and Angel, who kept her company. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna Angelich; brothers, Peter, Paul, Michael and infant brother, Daniel; sisters, Mildred Simich, Anne Ruby and infant sister, Pauline; nephews, Stephen and Ted Simich. She is survived by her niece, Mary Ann Angelich of Mogadore, Ohio; and many friends. Family and friends will be received Monday, December 2, 2019 from 12 to 1 p.m., at the Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Funeral service will be held Monday, 1 p.m., immediately following the visitation, with Pastor Richard Myers officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore, Ohio.
