Marshall "Mutt" Hodges

Marshall Hodges, age 81, passed away December 16, 2015, with his family by his side at Coshocton Springs Health & Rehab (formerly Autumn Healthcare). 

Marshall was a devoted family man and avid stock car racing fan. Jackie, Marshall’s beloved wife of 60 years, preceded him in death in 2014. Marshall leaves behind son, Russell (Sarita) Hodges; daughter, Susan Hoover; grandchildren, Jeff (Becky) Hoover, Jeremy (Jacque) Hoover, Angela (Dennis) Kooles and Kurt Jackson; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Marshall’s family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Coshocton Springs Health & Rehab for their care, support and love throughout Mutt’s extended Alzheimer’s journey. 

Funeral service will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312 with Rev. Richard W. Ferris officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends and family will be received prior to the service Monday, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
