Mark R. Conrad, age 67, peaced out on December 15, 2019.
Born on August 24, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to his parents, Arie (Fishel) and Wilbert J. Conrad, he was a graduate of Field High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mark retired from the trucking industry and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was also a manager for a minor league baseball team clubhouse. Mark enjoyed being “Pap Pap” to his grandkids, and also watching sports and participating in fantasy football.
Preceded in death by his father, Wilbert J. Conrad, Mark is survived by his mother, Arie E. Conrad; daughters, Justine Conrad and Leslie (Brandon) Pitts, both of Florida, and Barbara Conrad of N. Carolina; grandchildren, Charles, Loopy, Atticus, Harlow, Gaborade and Braylee; brothers, Kyle (Linda) of Hartville and John (Jayne) of Randolph; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Inurnment with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273. The family suggests memorials to Wounded Warriors.org or Abundant Grace Ministries, 11776 Cleveland Ave. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
