Marjorie Elaine Wearley

Born January 23, 1922 and passed on September 12, 2022 of Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 100. She leaves behind a niece, Christine Naberhaus; two nephews, Frederick (Gaylene) McCoy and Michael McCoy; many grand-nieces, nephews, and extended family of the Naberhaus’ as well as many wonderful friends. Her church, Suffield United Church of Christ, and friends in her community were so close and supportive throughout her life. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Wearley; daughter, Robin (Wearley) Collins; sister, Dolores (Burton) McCoy; brother, Raymond Burton; mother, Allie Pearl Burton; and father, Clyde Burton.

She loved cooking, Bingo, and General Hospital. She was my auntie, mama, grandma, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed. Thanks to the staff and residents at Brookdale Kenwood.

Services are being handled by Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home and will be held on Tuesday, September 20th at the Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 State Route 43, Mogadore, OH 44260. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow at Hartville Kitchen.
