Marjorie Fae Tannehill (Smith), age 92, went on her final trip Sunday, July 4th. She was a world traveler and Heaven is her last adventure.
Marjorie was born in Cuyahoga Falls and spent her early years there and in Brimfield. She graduated from KSU High School and The University of Akron. She spent 35 years as a teacher and counselor for Akron Public Schools.
Preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Alfaretta Smith; sisters, Nellie Slepoy and Beverly Casey; and our loving Dad, Edward Glenn Tannehill. Marjorie leaves behind daughter, Patty (Merrill) Evans; son, Ed II; grandchildren, Kristin (Matthew) Garner and Brandon Evans; great granddaughter, Everly Garner; sisters, Phyllis Herdendorf and Connie (Dan) Pratt; and brothers, David (Diane) Smith and Tom Smith.
Marjorie loved gardening, live theater, and her travels which she published a book about.
