Marilyn L. Burk

Marilyn L. Burk, age 77, passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2017. A life resident of Akron, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Glenn and Minnie Hummel; and brothers, Richard Hummel and Darrell Baker. She is survived by her son, Danny (Sheri); daughter, Jill (George) Buesch; and two grandsons. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
