Marie Ann Reynolds

Marie Ann (Myers) Reynolds At 85, Marie’s body lost a battle with cancer, but her mind, spirit and soul are renewed and rejoicing in heaven in the arms of her Savior, Jesus. Born in Olney, IL she moved with her family to Davenport, IA in 1963. She moved to Des Moines to finish her career with the phone company, then at retirement moved back to Olney in 1995. In 1989, she was brave and adventurous enough to visit her son and his family for 2 weeks in Zaire, Africa (now Democratic Republic of Congo). In 2012, she moved to Bedford, OH to be near her son and daughter-in-law and a granddaughter and her family. Marie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Eva and Charles Myers; brothers Chester and Richard; and ex-husband Jimmy Reynolds. She is survived by son Rick and daughter-in-law Carol; granddaughter Jeni and husband David, with great-grandkids Cora, Ben and Bekah; granddaughter Ruthie and husband Jamie, with great-grandkids Sophie, Riley, Haddie, Micah, and Quincy; sisters Dorothy and husband John, Betty, and Connie; brothers Kenny and wife Sara; and Dewey and wife Karen; nieces and nephews and their families, along with other family members, friends, and neighbors. God was always foremost in her life, evidenced by her family that knows and follows our Lord. There will be a family burial followed by a memorial service at 10:30 on Saturday, April 1, at the First Baptist Church of Bedford, OH, where she was a member.
