Marguerite A. Mihaly "Maggie"

UNIONTOWN – Marguerite A. Mihaly “Maggie”, age 76, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. Born on September 10th, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA., she graduated from St. Benedictine High School, and Robert Morris College. After graduation, Maggie was very proud to begin working for U.S. Steel where she met her future husband Dennis. They were married April 8th, 1967, and lived several places before settling in Uniontown Ohio in 1979. She began working for Keyser-Hicks Engineering and worked there until retirement. Maggie was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was a wonderful mother, enjoyed shopping and her cats. Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; and parents, Emil and Emma Schinhofen; Maggie is survived by son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Misty; brother, Raymond (Mary) Schinhofen; sisters-in-law, Maureen (Lee) James and Bonnie Mihaly; nieces and nephews, Kathy, Jeannie, Lisa, David, Jon, Kim, Chuck, Jaclyn, Kevin, Kara, and other relatives and friends. Maggie leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and laughter and will be greatly missed by her cats, Max, Katie, and Penny. Friends and family will be received Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685, on Friday, 11 a.m., with Father John Zapp presiding.
