Marguerite B. "Marge" Stone

Marguerite B. “Marge” Stone, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2015.

Born in Delaware, Ohio, she lived most of her life in Portage County. Marge retired from Field Local Schools in 1986 after 21 years of service, and was a member of Tallmadge Church of Christ. She enjoyed shopping, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Stone; and grandson, David J. Keen, Marge is survived by her son, William H. (Marilyn) Stone; daughter, Pam Keen (fiancé, David); beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Marge’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of the Western Reserve and Heather Knoll Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Lewis Willis officiating. Private burial will take place at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. The family suggests memorials to the “David Keen Memorial Fund”, Brecksville/Broadview Heights School Foundation, 6638 Mill Road, Brecksville, OH 44141.
