Margaret "Peg" Pamer

May 5, 1920 — November 7, 2013

Margaret “Peg” Pamer, 93, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2013.

She was employed with Goodyear Aircraft as a Rosie the Riveter during WWII and played the Hawaiian guitar on Saturday’s on the WADC radio during the 1930’s and 1940’s. Peg was a member of Suffield United Church of Christ over 60 years and she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Preceded in death by her brother, Dick Evans. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Lawrence; daughter, Betty (Lee) McFarland; grandchildren, Andrew (Deb), Timothy (Sarah) McFarland and Melissa (David) Cawley; great grandchildren, Joseph and Nathan Cawley, Daniel and Sarah McFarland; sister-in-law, Ruth Evans. The family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care.

Friends may call Friday, November 15th from 10-11 a.m. at Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 State Route #43, Suffield, Ohio 44260, with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Pastor Barry Bordenkircher will officiate. Burial at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. The family suggests memorials to the church.
