Margaret J. Nivens

December 15, 1915 — March 7, 2012

Margaret J. Nivens, 96, passed away March 7, 2012.

Born in Jefferson County, Ohio, she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Margaret was employed with the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company for 10 years, and was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Rupert; she is survived by her sons, Steven L. (Stephanie) of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Dennis A. of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Rick (Susan) of Indonesia; daughters, Barbara (Joe) Scott and Sonja Chester, both of Seminole, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and burial will take place Saturday, 1 p.m., at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 79201 Frank Rd., North Canton, Ohio 44720, with Rev. Pamela S. Monteith officiating. Memorials may be made to Greensburg United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 155, Green, Ohio 44236.
