Margaret M. "Peg" Griffith

"Together Again" Margaret M. “Peg” Griffith, age 89, passed away on September 9, 2016 after a brief illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Peg was very artistic and enjoyed crafting. She was a very giving person who loved being at home surrounded by her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Griff”; parents, Joseph and Hazel Melczak; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Tony Mars; and daughter-in-law, Mary, she is survived by her son, Joseph Griffith; daughters, Anna (Carl) Baum and Dorothy (Jim) Robinson; grandchildren, Katherine (Christopher) Jesty, Daniel Griffith and Scott Baum; and great-granddaughter, Savannah.
Friends and family will be received Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Graveside services and burial will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Rev. Rich Ferris officiating. The family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
