Margaret M. Epling

Margaret M. Epling, 86, went home to be with the Lord April 23, 2012.

She was born in Akron, Ohio, lived in West Virginia and Florida for part of her life before returning to Brimfield.  Margaret had been employed many years with the A & P Tea Company.  She was a member of the Chapel on Fir Hill, where she was very involved with the youth programs and later at Fairhaven Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Gerland; and daughter, Judith A. Wilcox. She is survived by sons, Gib (Linda) of Caldwell, OH and John (Sue) Epling of Deerfield, OH; and daughter, Susan K. Epling of Highland Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Zuravel of Akron; sister, Olga Rollins of Akron; son-in-law, Larry Wilcox; and dear friend, Susie McDaniel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor W. David Rosenberger officiating.  Burial at Hillside Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 a.m. until service time.  The family suggests memorials to Fairhaven Baptist Church, 3575 Tisen Road, Akron, Ohio  44312.
