Madeleine S. Hartwick Homa Carrington

Madeleine S. Hartwick Homa Carrington, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018. Born in Akron on August 17, 1939 to her parents, Anthony and Anna Hartwick, she lived in the Akron and Uniontown areas most of her life. Madeleine graduated from East High School and was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her son, James Andrew; and her two brothers, she is survived by her sons, William (Heidi) Homa, Michael Homa and Robert (Alicia) Homa; four grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Michellene Keppler for her friendship and support to Madeleine throughout the years. Madeleine’s greatest blessing in life was her children and grandchildren and her strength has been her son, Bill and his wife, Heidi. Memorial Service will be held Monday, 3 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 with Father Michael Williamson officiating.
