Lucinda Ann Fry Lilley (Lu Ann), age 91, returned to her home with the Lord on June 21st, 2017.
Born in Cleveland on August 29, 1925, she was the eldest child of the late Mary Finnegan Fry, and Enos. E (Jack) Fry. She graduated from Shaw High School, married Eugene Maynard Lilley (now deceased) in 1945, and dreamt only of becoming a mother of many. This was realized in her six children who survive her: Timothy (Patricia Longville), Susan aka Sister Maresa Lilley, SND, Kathleen (Timothy Wolosz), Thomas (Dawn Sorrell), Terrence (Susie), Paul (Debra). She is survived by her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother John Fry (Patricia) and her sister Judith Fry Clark. Her sister Katherine Fry Forbush precedes her in death.
Though her family was her main interest, Lu Ann was game for many of their various activities from camping to supporting the Monsters’ hockey games. With her relaxed approach to life, she allowed people to be people and embraced differences and ideas. In her eyes, each child was individual and won her support for their dreams and goals. Her love of music, her easy laughter, and her steady Catholic faith lit the home she made for her children.
