Louis D. Morris

Louis D. Morris, 94 years, passed away May 8, 2013.

He was born in Akron and was a resident of Uniontown. Louis served in WWII and the Korean War. He was the owner of the Firestone Dental Lab for 45 years and was a member of Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by his wife, Frances; son, Ronald; brothers, Joe, Larry, Frank and Vincent; sisters, Rosemary, Mabel, Margaret and Lena. He is survived by sons, Kenneth (Shirley) and Walter (Bonnie); daughter-in-law, Beverly (Ronald) Morris; grandchildren, Jennifer Marshall, Natalie (Alex) McAninch, Greg (Jennifer) Morris, Mark (Joanna) Morris, Stephanie (John) Peric, Kathryn Morris and Dr. Jessica Morris; great grandchildren, Zachary and Jake Marshall, Veronica McAninch, Vance Morris and Oliver Morris; sister, Lucille Augustine.

Friends may call Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. N.W., UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (1 block NW of the square of 619 and Cleveland Avenue). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m., at Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Father David Halaiko celebrating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44307-2463.
