Lori Beth (Light) Swiger

Lori Beth Swiger, age 50, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2016. 

Born in Del Rio, Texas, she lived in the Akron and Uniontown areas most of her life. Lori was a devoted homemaker and loved caring for her family. One of her favorite activities was watching her children participate in horseback riding competitions. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Lori is survived by her loving husband, Brian of nearly 28 years of marriage; daughters, Brenna and Hannah; parents, Raymond and Mary Light; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Lisa Light, and their children, Travis and Raegan; special friend, Mary Kay Leidal; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Friends and family will be received Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Lori’s family on behalf of her children.
