Loretta R. Sandusky

Loretta R. Sandusky, 81, passed away December 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Canton, lived in the area all her life and had been employed for many years with Revco. Loretta was a loving wife and mother, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her skills as an excellent baker and cook.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years of marriage, Harold; daughters, Gail (Wayne) Morris and Connie (Art) Huffman; grandchildren, Robert (Michelle) Main, Scott (Danielle) Main, Brandon (Heather) Huffman, Michelle (Dan) Wilson, and Lori Morris; great grandchildren, Bree, Camden, Ben, Mara, Allie, Brayden, Cody, Gracie, Chase, Drake, Owen and Levi; brother, Ralph (Jane) Briner; sister, Twyla Roman; other nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) with Mr. Bob Main officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to Harbor Light Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
