Linda L. Neubert McGee

Linda L. Neubert McGee, 71, passed away February 21, 2014.

Born in Akron, Linda graduated from the St. Thomas School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She was the Queen Mother of the R.A.P.U.N.Z.E.L.S. Chapter of the Red Hat Society. Linda loved to crochet and would make many things for her friends and family with her special stitch. Most importantly, Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Dawn) Bell, Lizabeth (Jeff) Potter, Lisa (Michael) Bell-Schnyder, Leslie (Shannon) Underwood and Laura Underwood; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Maria) Neubert; sisters, Judy Neubert, Christine (Greg) Martin and Margaret Neubert; cousins, David Geatches, Liz, Jeanie and Frank Carderelli; many nieces and nephews. Linda gave the gift of sight through eye donation.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
