Linda Kay Lindgren (Rang)
Linda Kay Lindgren (Rang), 74, was called into her heavenly home surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
Linda was the owner of a small sewing business, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of North Springfield Presbyterian Church, former Deacon and ruling Elder. Linda enjoyed crocheting, sewing, video games, jigsaw puzzles, TV and most of all spending time with family hosting countless gatherings.
Linda is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 58 years, Gene; daughter, Kelli Perk (Ralph); sons, Gene Lindgren (Gabriela) and Graig Lindgren (Lisa); grandchildren, David Norman (Candace), Danielle Norman (Chris), DJ Norman (Nicole), Vanessa Morales, Nataly Lindgren, Stewart Lindgren (Greta), and Brianna Leatherman; great-grandchildren, Mila, Joshua, Callie, and Tyler; siblings, Nancy Williamson (Kenny), Jean Ann Dewitt, Janet Gardner, and brother-in-law, Dick Trennell; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Becca. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eileen Jones and Raymond Rang; siblings, Margie Askew, Janet Trennell, Benny Jones; brother-in-law, Paul Dewitt; and grandson, Alec Leatherman.
Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2019, from 4 to 7 PM, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, 44312. Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11 AM, with Pastor Laura Kelly officiating, with visitation starting at 10 AM, at North Springfield Presbyterian Church, 671 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, 44312.
