Linda Derhammer

Linda K. (Peel) Derhammer age 75, passed away March 18th 2024 and is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with her Mother Betty and Father Robert. No longer will she endure type one diabetes, CAD and most recently moderate cognitive issues. 

Left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, loving husband Jed of 36 yrs, stepson Ryan (Jennifer) of Florida. Also survived by her brother Bob (Kim) Peel, niece Kristin (Matt), Everly Garner and sister in law Jinny Walker.   

Linda graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966 and worked at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for 20yrs as a secretary where she became known as the frog lady, the engineers in her department would bring her frog figurines from around the world. She left GTR to help take care of her father. After his death she worked at the Chapel in the camp Carl office. She was a devoted daughter and cared for her mother for many years. She loved to laugh and have a good time, she really enjoyed those Friday and Saturday nights out where she met so many people who became fast friends. She was especially fond of camping and fishing. Loved setting around a fire telling stories and having a few adult cocktails. She was a pet lover of all kinds but especially dogs. 

Family and friends will be received Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home. 3553 Northdale St NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 7pm. A burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
