Leroy A. Kappler

Leroy A. Kappler, age 76, passed away on August 27, 2018. Born in Canton, he was a life resident of the area and served in the U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam Era. Leroy retired from Williams Toyota Forklift and enjoyed working on farm tractors and small engines. He loved the outdoors, and liked hunting, gardening and riding in his 1966 convertible. Leroy also enjoyed playing cards and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians. Preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters, Leroy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon; son, Forrest (Rachele) Kappler; and grandsons, Bradley and Matthew. He also leaves and will be missed by brothers, James A. Kappler and Richard (LaRue) Kappler; sister, Linda (Richard) Moyer; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place.
