Leonard A. Roberts

Leonard A. Roberts, 68, of Cutler, OH (originally from Akron, Ohio) went home to the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Leonard was born in Akron, OH in 1954 to the late Paul and Ruby (McLemore) Roberts. He is survived by his two sons, Jarrod, and Justin (Tammy); three grandchildren, Dominik, Payton, and Allen; brother, Matthew, five sisters, Pat, Bonnie, Debbie, Paula and Gina and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Wayne, and Paul.

Leonard was a retired Operating Engineer out of the Local 18 in Akron, Ohio. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time hunting and fishing with many friends and family members. He spent the best years of his life at his “happy place” farming and enjoying time with friends in Washington County, Ohio.

His sons and siblings will host a visitation on Friday, Sept. 22nd from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH). A brief Eulogy will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a reception at Guy’s Party Center (500 E. Waterloo Rd. Akron, OH).
