Roy Hartline passed peacefully in his sleep on March 17, 2016.
He was born on February 13, 1932 in Akron, Ohio. Roy always enjoyed his trips with his brother, Jack and friend, Linda Laird. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ellodean; mother, Vivienne Tipton; and brother, William Miller, Roy is survived by his daughter, Diane Reymann (Todd); son, Eric Hartline (Debbi); grandson, Cory Hartline and granddaughter, Cassy Reymann; sister, Margaret Collins; brother, John “Jack” Hartline; sister-in-law, Norma Gray; brother-in-law, Larry Jarvis; nephews, Russ Hartline (Pam), Donald Hartline and Jeff Jarvis; nieces, Donna Albert (Les) and Jenny Jarvis; and all his great-nieces and –nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mogadore Fire Department, 135 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, OH 44260.
