Lee A. Myers

Lee Myers, 87, died February 9, 2013 after a long illness.

Mr. Myers has lived in the Akron area since 1953 and retired from B.F. Goodrich as the Director of Accounting in 1983. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, enjoyed golfing, scuba diving, traveling, and working on his five acres. His love of animals was truly his passion. Additionally, both he and his wife held private pilot's licenses which gave them many adventures over the years. They truly were giving and loving parents and will be missed so very much.

Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Marjorie; and twin daughters, Kathy and Karin. Mr. Myers leaves behind his three daughters, Ann (Gary), Pam (Bill) and Dawn (Hans); four grandchildren, Christine, Gary, Christopher and Tristan; plus 11 great grandchildren. There will be no calling hours and graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter.
