Lawrence P. Rittman, age 68, passed away on July 28, 2015.
Born in Akron, Larry grew up in Kenmore and graduated from Hoban High School. He resided in Uniontown for the past 39 years, and retired from Bridgestone after 46 years of service. Larry’s hobbies included Lionel model trains and fishing, but his greatest pride was in his grandchildren and the legacy of his family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Larry was a kind, generous and loving family man who is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan; sons, Lawrence T. (Rebecca) and David (Beth); grandchildren, Katherine and Lawrence Benjamin; and sister, Lawreen Rittman.
Family and friends will be received Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison Street NW, Uniontown, Ohio 44685 with Father John Zapp presiding. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
