Laura J. Rothwell

Laura J. Rothwell, age 97, passed away June 19, 2014.

Born in Braxton, West Va., she lived in the Akron, Canton and Marlboro areas all of her life. Laura was employed wth Yoder's Florist, worked at Goodyear Aerospace during the war, and retired from Kuntzman Trucking Company in 1981.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents; and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Sharon Lemon and Myrtle Omoka, both of Louisville, Ohio; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Fred (Leona) Mick of Florida.

Memorial service will be Monday, 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), with Pastor Randy Shafer officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 6 to 7 p.m.
