Larelle V. Whetsell

Larelle ValJean Whetsell went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2023. 

Larelle was born November 12, 1943 in Kittanning, PA, the hometown she loved so much. She moved to Mogadore when she was a senior in high school and graduated there. She lived in Mogadore the remainder of her life. Larelle spent her younger years focused on raising her family before working and retiring from Haven of Rest Ministries. She loved people and telling detailed stories. She enjoyed flowers, puppies, photographs, and parties. 

Larelle is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Whetsell; her three children, Valerie Whetsell, Duane Whetsell (Sally), Julia Miller (Jeff); 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

Burial has taken place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A gathering to honor her life will take place on October 14th. Please contact the family for details.
