L. Jeanette Koehl, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2016.
Born in Akron, she lived in the area all of her life and graduated from East High School. Jeanette retired from Babcock & Wilcox after over 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Koehl, and parents, Harrison and Colleen Polk, she is survived by her children, Tracey (Jake) Kessler and Matthew (Martie) Koehl; grandchildren, Chris (Audra) Kessler, Courtney (Derek) Davis, Abbey, Kate, Hannah and Will Koehl; great-granddaughter, Kinley Kessler; and brothers, Jerry and Paul Polk.
Memorial service will be held Friday, 12:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) with Pastor David Windham officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service Friday, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, 70 West Streetsboro Street, Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
