L. Betha Gibbons

L. Betha Gibbons, age 49, passed away October 9, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Gibbons; and brother, Chad Palek. Betha is survived by her son, Nicholas Gibbons; granddaughter, Sophie; parents, Judy and Larry Palek and Joyce Gibbons; brothers, Chris (Kathi) Gibbons, Heith (Edie) Palek and Shawn (Misty) Palek; and sisters, Aimee (Scott) Gibbons and Ashley Palek.

Memorial service will be held Monday, 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) with Father Timothy Huffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time. Interment will take place at Woods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Battered Women’s Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties, 974 E. Market Street, Akron, OH 44305; or the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
