Kenny Ray Jr. Kenny Ray Jr., 32, passed away unexpectedly March 20, 2016.
He was born in Akron, graduated from Springfield High School in 2002 and lived in Lakemore before moving to Atwater. Kenny served part time with the Uniontown Fire Department, the Creston Police Department and was a volunteer with the Atwater Fire Department. He was currently employed with Timken Steel in Canton, Ohio as a fire technician. Kenny enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, farming and his dogs.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Loureva Hunt, and Raymond Ray. He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Itsy; dogs, Zoe and Bo; parents, Ken and Liz Ray; brother, Sam; sister, Jenn; grandmother, Bobbie Jean Ray; brothers-in-law, Danny and Jerry Culver; in-laws, Sandy Culver, George Rance, Ralph and Alice Culver; many other family members and friends.
Friends and family will be received from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Butch Pursley officiating. Private family burial will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Kenny Ray, Jr. Fund at any First Merit Bank.
